Krajete GmbH (KRJ) is a privately owned, young and dynamic start-up company active in the field of industrial biotechnology based on gaseous substrates. The business line recently opened regards fermentation optimizations for gaseous carbon sources. Developed models and innovative process control solutions are exploited profitably in the ENGICOIN project. 

KRJ leads the development of the bioreactor based on the metabolically engineered A. woodii for acetone production. Among its minor roles, KRJ advises in WP 2 and WP 3 based on knowledge accumulated in Business to Business projects, and helps to optimize the process modelling in WP 9.
